The consultation is time dedicated for you to ask any questions and explore any ideas.
That being said - typically there will be a natural structure to the discussion, usually consisting roughly of:
1. Giving you the floor to discuss your plans.
2. Responding with the most important things you need to know to make your plans a reality.
3. Running you through the process.
4. Running you through timeframes and services that might be useful to you.
We often sketch in real time during the consultation to give you visual ideas.
As part of the service - we provide a dedicated customer portal where you can find all documents, mark ups, booking links and more related to your project.
This provides a single location you can find all information if you ever can't locate a previous submission, or wish to make a quick comment on the design.
The customer portal provides a clear area for all information.
We start by providing you with the site visit, measured survey and the full 3D site scan of your site.
This goes above and beyond the typical survey you'd expect from other architects and gives you an unrivaled perspective on your site and what is possible.
You can see an example of one of our project site scans here. They come in an interactive format you can move around, attach notes to and more.
The first draft submission of the design includes a full set of architect's plans, sections and elevations, as well as 3D diagrams and free CGI images and a video.
These aim to spring board your project towards your vision as quickly as possible, giving you an unrivalled idea of the project design from a very early stage.

Following this you can book in the revision meeting. Where we'll discuss, design and mark over the first draft of the project.
We take a lot of pride in our ability to hone the design into exactly what you need in this sitting. Most of our projects are ready for planning after 1 revision meeting with the client.
That being said - we can always accommodate further revision meetings and minor revisions after this point are typically free in the service.

Once you're happy with the design - We'll submit your design for a council application. Typically planning permission or a certificate of lawful development application.
During this time we make sure to reach out to the local council, ensuring they are happy with the design and that it can be recommended for approval.
We have a strong track record and a tried and tested approach to ensuring applications gain approval and will always making the strongest case possible for your project.

Following the approval of a council application - we then carry out the construction drawings (or building regulations drawings).
This is where all the extra detail for the project is added, proposing how everything fits together and how to get the best finish.
We also cover coordination between others consultants at this stage as well such as a structural engineer and building control officer if relevant to your project. We can typically recommend consultants who can fulfill these roles as well.
We even provide joinery and furniture designs as well
In addition to everything else we can provide. We also provide a definitive interior design service, covering finishes, joinery design, FF&E as well as many other elements.
We often help clients find and agree the price of the build, using a solid agreement to ensure no issues arise on-site. This can even include us fulfilling the client advisor or contract administrator role if helpful for you.
We're always available should you or the builder need assistance while you are conducting the build. We can provide site visits, further information and / or design solutions should it be required.
We're available for additional services if you need them.
